Sunday, February 26, 2006 - HW Turns into Flyers Rant
I unfortunatly have to skip out on youth group tonight in favor of homework, what fun. I would rather go there, but I have yet to write my history paper. I have actually been on the computer for a good half an hour and managed nothing but a title and header, good stuff.
Instead, I have been fueling my Flyers' OCD, not so good, lol. I feel like such a stalker, which is what I really am. Exactly why I can't go up to Primeau at Eustace hockey games; I would just feel too much like a crazy annoying fan girl. I mean, what do you say? It would be fun to goto one of the Flyers' practices once, but yea, I would feel like even more of a stalker: if only I had courage, lol.
It should be interesting at the Flyers' Wives Fight For Lives Carnival. I actually got a "reservation" for a photo and autograph with Mike Richards, let's hope I don't make too much of a fool out of myself. It should be interesting too because all my stuff is of Gagne. Oh well, what is one to do? gags is sold out, but Richards has actually been more of an obsession for me this season. In withdrawl at the moment with the olympics. I get to see Carter everyday, lol. Not really, but that kid might as well be him, he looks just him, only he plays baseball.

Olympics--
Joey Creek ---> Harvard
I have to say that was pretty funny. An olympic broadcast journalist appealing on prime time tv to Harvard to accept the gold medal speed skater Joey Cheek. A highpoint for those broadcasters.
I really didn't like the other guy, who was older. He was talking to the hockey commentators todya and had no idea what he was doing and looked like he just ate a lemon 24/7. Be happy. The others sucked too, trying to stir up trouble, get a life.
I Hate history papers. and I dont like how I alway spell history histroy and olympics olypics. annoying.
Does anyone else juse love the music now rolling with the credits at the closing of the Olympics?
May I say, the closing has been the highlight of the coverage of the Olympics. The broadcasters were kind and did their real job, interviewing the athletes. We saw the highlights, Ohno, Cheek, White, Cohen, Sweden, etc. The music is fantastic.
The actual ceremonies were nice as well, good performances, images; they really embodied the spirit of the olympics more than anything else I saw all these 16 days. The loss, the wins, the competition, the fellowship, the passion. Passion, a good theme for these games. [Ovechkin, how nice, and Sweden -gotta love the hockey. Shaun White is just the bomb, lol. Erase that phrase, it's absolutley terrible, call him the FLying tomato.] I'm sad it's all over.
I can't wait for Vancouver, which is of course, now 4 years away.
4 years, that seems so far away. I can't even begin to contemplate where I will be then. Who I will be friends with, what I will be doing. I mean, I guess I'll be in college. From that, who knows. I don't really like to think about the future, it's too...uncertain. I like to take one day at a time. I'm tired of expectations, of hopes -unfulfilled, of dream -dashed and dead. Live for today, a good motto. and carpe dium, seize it, live it with passion.

Mehh, I saved that in my surveys as well, which I realize I have to put up, lol.
I don't feel well at all. My feet haven't properly warmed since the hockey game, something I will talk more on later. My throat really hurts as well, I have to go get water and chapstick. My hand has been bothering me as well; I swiped my left hand on the side of my letter sweater (yea, Im forgetting how to spell sweater, a sad day) and it my pinkie caught on the star pin and made a half inch gash. It actually looks pretty interesting and didn't hurt that bad; the sting is more of an annoyance.
Appetizer: Choose one: moving to another state, having triplets, or never being able to eat chocolate again. moving to another state
Soup: Name a news story that truly shocked you. Hm. The whole principle of the Cheney shooting thing. I thought it was ridiculous I even had to hear about it, a total waste of my time. Who really cares?
Salad: What was your very first job? camp couselor this summer at Parks and Playgrounds. It wasn't too bad, could have been worse. Got to play with kids and get payed for it.
Main Course: If you had the chance to read the diary of someone you're really close to, would you? Why or why not? No. The diary is something secret, personal. As I wouldn't want anyone near me to read it. It would be so easy to misunderstand things and misinterprt or put things in the wrong context. People already have.
Dessert: What's something you're looking forward to? I can't give only one. Flyers' restart on March 1. Ring Dance (once I find a date). Flyers' carnival. Junior Trip. College.

Monday, February 20, 2006 - oMG, I need to rant before I explode
I am so frustrated today. Like, it started out alright, I got up, watched some hockey, and went and cleaned. I always feel good after I earn some money and it was still pretty early in the day. I got home and Alex immediately began to piss me off. As always, he manages to disrupt me as much as humanly possible, including pushing me so I spilled the iced tea jug all over the counter, all while I was on the phone. He continued to scream and progress as well.I watched some more hockey, did some stuff on the computer.
Now Dad is "sick" once again. I am getting really tired of this sickness. Okay, it happens 24/7, goto the freaking doctors or at least make an effort to do something. All he does anymore is stay in bed or when he feels up to it go and do laundry, and then all you hear is how much there is and how no one helps him ever. Well, first of all, it's so much because you don't keep on top of it. Second of all, thank you very much, I do more around the house than you do, inculding basically being a parent to my brother.
He originally "said" he intended to work on my room this weekend, oh, that really happened. He says that every once in a while, if only to hear himself talk. Then he loves to blame it on me for not getting done when he so conveniently can't work because I am out of the house. Yea, he really needs me to be able to work on the room. Why can't he just take responsibility for his actions, and say yea, I don't feel like doing it. Stop making freaking excuses all the time.
Now I have to type in the freaking dark because we have to sleep all day and of course, the computer is conventiently located in his room, which has to be dark. Get over yourself.
I haven't begun to talk about his lateness.
Frustrated much? Yea, def. Ever feel like punching someone because you're so angry?
And we wonder why I want my license and to go away to college, absolutly no mystery there. I think I will have less responsibility in college than I do now. I'm tired of being a member of this household, so tired.

Friday, February 17, 2006 - Fridays...
Appetizer: If you were a color, which color would you be, and why? blue, my fav color cerulean actually. it is deep, yet bright as well. Blue because I am a pretty mellow person. Yet, the ocean is blue, and tumultous and strong, yet calm at other times as well.
I could extend this metaphor farther but I will spare you all the agony.
Soup: When was the last time you went to the doctor, and what was your reason for going? I went in October, just for a checkup, mostly so I can play track.
Salad: What do you collect? Lotr and hp stuff. Flyers stuff. pennies. bandanas, holocaust books, degas materials.
Main Course: What were you like in high school? Name one thing you miss and one thing you don't miss about those days. (If you're still there, imagine how you'll remember it in the future.) Since I am in high school, I don't really know. I will probably remember it fondly. I like where I am now, even though it can be frustrating. I will remember the good times, and probably try to forget the bad ones.
Dessert: Pretend you're standing in front of your home, with your back towards your home. Describe the view - what can you see? Trees? Cars? A zoo? Wal-Mart?houses across the street, one with the perpetually yellow lawn. Some trees, a street. Not much of a view.
My mind os too overworked to be overly descriptive or actually work.

Wednesday, February 15, 2006 - Post V-Day Syndrome...
Is that I am actually happy. No, j/k, I was actually a bit more melancholy today, it was a very uneventful and boring day. As much as I like my extra free time, I miss track in being outside, doing exercise and hanging out with people.
As for Zim and Marciante, I am actually missing the Zimmatore Marciante Memmorial Brooming Device Song. Its a great piece, j/k. As crazy and mean as they can be, I just have to laugh at them sometimes.

Tuesday, February 7, 2006 - Danger: Frustration Continues...
I seriously don't know what to do about Kate. The rest of those girls I am just like w/e about, because I was never that close to them to begin with. Kate, however, I have been really close with, especially since last year. I would really hate to lose her as a good friend, but I feel it happening. And I just don't know what to do.
Like that whole group I feel is going completely fake as of late. I can't stand the way they treat Sarah and I refuse to ditch Sarah just because she did one thing that upset one of them. It's petty and simply ridiculous. Get over yourself.
I know they are good people at heart, they truly are. Lately, I hate to say it, they have just been acting like total bitches. Like, I question why I am friends with them, or even if I am truly friends with them anymore. I don't feel like I am.
It's gone beyond the whole "play clique thing" and just into 24/7. Kate never tells me anything, she tells Michelle and Kevin more. Did I do something to piss them all off, am I just not cool anymore. I am tired of trying to figure it out and I am tired of bullshit friends. Im just freakin tired of it.
Can you feel my frustration? Lol, whatever, I just really need to let it go and move on, I guess. That is probably the best solution. The whole thing only makes me angry, and when I go to put the effort in I think why am I even bothering? Is it really worth it? I can't answer those questions yet, only time will tell.
All of this ranting really finds it source in Math. I can't get sigma/summations to save my life. I didnt hand in the stupid sheet/quiz/hw thing and it is really annoying me. I had like 2 things written on the sheet and it didn't make sense to hand it in. I just simply do not understand what we are going over now.
I decided that, this year, I either go full out 120% in my classes or go at like 50% and don't care. Math and English I am full out and I do hw every night and really try to glean something from each class. Religion I cared about last semester becasue I enjoyed Mr. Pinto's class and he got me involved. This semester I draw stars, read or day-dream in that class and the only work I do for it is printing out the readings. History, I keep handing in everything late, and dont pay attention. French: I nod off in class practically everyday and rarely study. Journalism I kind of try, or at least have fun in the class. There is no real work involved, but I do get it done when we have it.
The future arrived today. Ha, not really, that reminded me of that commercial though, high-speed internet I think it was for. Anyway, we did a course-selection seminar thing this morning, so naturally everyone was talking about it all day. I actually have some nice free space in my schedule, 2 periods to do w/e with. All my classes, besides Physics should be good next year. Mr. Brady, amazing, I hope to get Mr. Pinto for religion, French, boring, but ok, choir=gay, but w/e. My other two classes are handpicked so theyll be good no matter what - or at least they better be.
Also, I got a call from Houghton college. I think it was a student. They just asked questions, let me ask some questions. College is a weird thing: I am ready to be there now, but at the same time I have absolutly no idea where I want to go or what I want to with my life. So I guess Im really not ready.
At least the Flyers will always be there for me, lol. I can always count on them, even if they play like crap, they'll be there. Game tmw, yay. Against the Islanders, so they better win, or I will just have to pity the Flyers. I hope Desjardins is back, they could really really use him on D. Gagne better get scoring again, he's now tied for second. Hatcher needs to step it back up, he let down on the last game a bit.
Where is the hitting? I want the broad street bullies back.
LJ isnt working well, w/e. I am so sick, blah, time for tea, a little hw, then bed.
My memory has just been dying lately. My mind is really in overdrive and its finally catching up with me. It has stopped working. Oh well, what can you do?

Sunday, February 5, 2006 - Hockey-time...
Didnt get to watch the game yet, I hope I will have the chance before I goto bed. Alex, the great brother he is already told me the results, they lost in overtime 4-3. thanks, I appreciate it, so much.
I was going to write something and now I really dont feel like putting forth the effort. Im too tired, I just want to watch the Flyers, lose. Okay, not the latter, but I enojy watching the Flyers at all, and it will be nice to see them come back from 2-0 anyway. I hope it taped right.

Thursday, February 2, 2006 - Ups and Downs...
I have really been gaining respect for mich and ro. they accepted sarah for our rooms for junior trip, good deal. I need to talk to mich about going to a hockey game and maybe get her and ro to go next friday. that would be awesome.
flyers sucked, almost wished I hadnt watched it. not really, but it was kind of painful. I hope to God they do better on Saturday, back to back games. Saturday is for division lead, cross your thumbs. They need all the luck they can get.
Ashley hit the boards @10:33 PM
I didnt feel like adding anymore from the LJ, go see it for yourself sometime.
Yea, I did feel like writing, but now I should really be working on my history paper. Oh well, I wasted my time on neopets.
The Flyers game was painful, just painful. That is the best description. I really wanted to turn it off, but I hoped maybe they could salvage at least one goal, no. Gagne, I barely heard of on offense, except for his huge missed shot. He got back and made some key plays on d. Something I found interesting on the score report, none of the Flyers were under -2 for the game, and most were -1 or even. Hatcher was even, which I find interesting, it meant he was never on the ice during a goal. It shows that it is little mistakes by every player that contributes to the big loss.
I am so tired of college, I really hate thinking about it anymore. I can't choose and its approaching too close for comfort. Way too close.
I never write in my blog anymore, its just so much easier to write here. Especially since I started on the Flyers group, in which I am quite active. I have hoarded icons for a while as well. Ill probably add some of these entries to my blog eventually. I hope.
I found one of my big err's in life. I am too much of a perfectionist. Most times I am able to hide this fault but it really kills me. I flake under pressure, completely. Like at States, or any meet that matters, to me, for that matter. (I just repeated matter in the same sentence, haha. My corny fun, it's sad isnt it?)
Omg, I really need to start history. This is what happens when I have a paper, I spend my life doing everything else possible to avoid it. Ahhh.
Back to previous topic, yea. Thats why I hate writing, becuase I always feel I can and should do better and I get really frustrated. Also why I go last minute, cuz I cant afford to be finnicky about it then. Also why I am so stressed about the whole college thing. I have to goto the "perfect" college. Why I'll never be able to settle on a career, or produce any good works. Why I'll never have a boyfriend. Why I'll bever have any self-confidence.
It's a nice little cycle isn't it? Oh, well, time to work now, really.
